Sarah (Sadie) Duffy was born in Fayette Township, Lafayette County, Dec. 1, 1885, a daughter of John and Mary Quinn Duffy. She attended Yellowstone school. She was employed in housework for many years and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Blanchardville.
Her only survivor is a niece, Mrs. John Nickols of Rockford, Ill.
Two brothers and her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Miss Duffy were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, in Immaculate Conception Church, with Father Bernard Kurz to officiate. Burial was in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Yellowstone.
Saether’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
