Isabelle A. (Cacase) McMahon, 88, of East Hartford, loving wife for forty-eight years to the late John F. McMahon, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday (July 3, 2010) with her caring family close to her at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

Born in Hartford on July 25, 1921, a daughter of the late Angelo and Frances Cacase, she had been a resident of East Hartford since 1957.

Isabelle was a 1939 graduate of Weaver High School in Hartford. She was previously employed by Connecticut General Insurance Company, Pearl Street, Hartford as an Executive Secretary. Isabelle had three very dear passions in her life, which were, her three children, her two adored grandchildren, and the Boston Red Sox who she followed faithfully for many years.

Along with her beloved husband and parents, Isabelle was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Cacase of Old Saybrook. Isabelle is survived by her three special caring and devoted children, Anthony "Tony" McMahon of Binghamton, NY, Mark M. McMahon and his wife, Nancy, of East Hartford, Monica M. Cyr and her husband, Cliff, of East Hartford with whom she made her home and who also took special care of Isabelle in her final years. She also leaves her two adored grandchildren, Megan M. McMahon and Michael M. McMahon both of East Hartford; two brothers, Joseph Cacase in West Virginia, Bernard Cacase of Rocky Hill; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday (July 7, 2010) at 11:30 a.m. at the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, East Hartford.
Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday (July 6, 2010) from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
