Mrs. Pinky Daniels, 82, died at the home of her son, George Daniels at Tomahawk, KY at 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 28, after an illness of five months.

The daughter of the late John and Katherine Miller Meek, she was born in this county on September 18, 1874 and had lived in the area all her life.

She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.

Her husband Marion Daniels preceded her in death in 1948.

Surviving besides her son, George, are two other sons,
Ralph and Charlie Daniels both also of Tomahawk;

Also five daughters,
Mrs. Myrtle Daniels Meek, Boons Camp;
Mrs. Mary Daniels Blevins, Parkersburg, WV;
Mrs. Lillie Daniels Garner, Bowling Green;
Mrs. Sally Daniels Maynard, Springfield, OH;
Mrs. Flora Daniels Shaffer, Mills Creek, IN.

Also surviving are twenty -six grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday at the Phillip Cove Freewill Baptist Church at Tomahawk with Scott Castle as officiating minister.

Burial was in the Wilson Cemetery at Tomahawk, KY.
