BURNSVILLE – Mrs. Donnie Metcalf Maney, 74, of Burnsville, died in an Asheville hospital Monday morning after an illness of several months.
Services will be held at Cane River Baptist Church at 2 p.m.
Wednesday. The Rev. Eddie McPeters will officiate. Burial will be in the family cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church of 30 minutes prior to services.
Surviving are the husband, Robert Maney; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Banks of Burnsville and Mrs. Leo Selano of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sons, Hal of Christiansburg, Va., and Linwood Maney of Black Mountain; five grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Metcalf of Burnsville RFD 1 and F.H. Metcalf of Barnardsville.
