Of 1228 21st Ave., died at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, 1973, at home. Mr. Louder retired from the PRR in August 1965 as gang foreman, Twelfth Street electrical shop.
He was born on Jan. 31, 1892, in Altoona, a son of William G. and Louella (Nevitt) Louder, and married Merle Montana Laughlin on Jan. 1, 1915. Surviving are his wife, four sons, William of Williamsport, Nevitt of Pittsburg, Fred of Mount Gretna and James of Garden City, Long Island, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Louder was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Altoona and the Win-a-Fellow Sunday School Class. He was a life member of Logan Lodge 490, F&AM.
