Mrs. Elizabeth R. McMasters, 87, of Holbrook Star Route, died at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 6, 1958, in the Curry Memorial Home following a lingering illness.
Born Jan. 8, 1871, in Springhill Township, she was a daughter of William and Martha Huffman Rhome, and spene most of her life in Greene County. Her husband, Selvy McMasters, preceded her in death on Dec, 29, 1947.
She is survived by three daughters, Ida, wife of Ott Weaver of Holbrook Star Route; Bertha, wife of Russell Berdine of Holbrook Star Route; Audrey, wife of Floyd Morris of Holbrook, R. D. 1; three sons, Asa of Koppel, Pa.; George of Newcastle and Russell of East Palestine, Ohio; 31 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and four brothers, George Rhome of Canonsburg, Peter Rhome of Rock Lick, W. Va., Edward Rhome of Moundsville, W. Va., and David Rhome of Sugar Grove. One son and one daughter are deceased.
