Long Illness Fatal to Florence Hancock, 51

Florence May Hancock, 51, of 2518 East Douglas, died at her home early Sunday morning, following a lingering illness. Born March 17, 1896, at Williamsville, Mo., Mrs. Hancock moved to Wichita from Missouri in 1905.

She was a member of the First Baptist church.

Survivors are her husband, Dennis Tracy Hancock; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Martin and Mrs. Dorothy Black, all of the home; one son, Dennis Hancock of 356 North Hydraulic; four sisters, Mrs. Sadie Eaton of 237 North Kansas, Mrs. Alice Bannister of 2020 East Central, Mrs. Bert Stanley of 438 North Emporia, and Mrs. Vina Box of Salem, Mo.; three brothers, John Cameron of 900 West 37th, Jake Cameron of Prichett, Colo., and Mike Cameron of Pacific Grove, Cal., and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be announced by Cochran mortuary.

Hancock Rites Tuesday

Funeral services for Florence May Hancock, 51, of 2518 East Douglas, will be held Tuesday at 1 p. m. from chapel of Cochran mortuary. Dr. F. B. Thorn of First Baptist church, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dan C. Eaton, Ora Nestleroad, Paul K. Cecil, Dan Cameron, Everett Cameron, and John Bradford. Interment will be in Wichita Park cemetery.
