Jesse Edward Sams, 75, of 49 West 12th St., died Monday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Georgie McKown, East Liverpool, O.
He was born in West Virginia, a son of the late David and Sarah Sams.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Helen Sams; six daughters, Mrs. Dollie Wilson of Indiana, Mrs. Daisy Webber of Cleveland, Mrs. Norma Hamrick and Mrs. Mary James, both of Parkersburg, Miss Millie Sams and Miss Alice Sams, both of the family home; two sons, James Sams and John Sams, both of Parkersburg; one stepson, Robin M. Stephenson, of Cincinnati; one sister, Mrs. McKown of East Liverpool; three brothers, Henry Sams of Lubeck, Wood county, Lafe Sams and Leon Sams, both of Parkersburg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. today at the Shaver and Co. funeral home with the Rev. Raymond Deem officiating. Burial will be in the Lubeck cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the time of the service.
