David Hendershot, seventy-six years old, died recently in Somerset Hospital, Somerville, from a complication of ailments, after a long illness. He was formerly a resident of Whitehouse Station and he left here a number of years ago to go to Flanders to make his home with his daughter. He was removed from there to the hospital about six weeks ago. He was a retired farmer. He leaves four children and his wife. The children are Benjamin, Elwood and William Hendershot, of Lebanon, and Mrs. Charles Hendershot, of Flanders. Funeral services were held in East Whitehouse. Rev. L. G. Gunn, pastor of the Methodist Church officiated, and internment was in the Methodist Cemetery.
