A service for Elliott will be held at noon Saturday at Muldoon Community Assembly, 7041 DeBarr Road. A remembrance-of-life potluck will be after the service in the church fellowship hall.
Born Aug. 8, 1983, in Anchorage, Elliott was a lifelong resident of Alaska, a Marine who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and a proud member of the Anchorage Fire Department.
Elliott is survived by his wife, Lacey, whom he met while serving in the Marine Corps. They were married in 2005 and made their home in Anchorage for the past four years. He is also survived by his mother, Peggy Taylor; and his brother, Everett and wife Sarah Taylor, both of Anchorage.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Taylor.
Elliott was a devoted husband, a loving son and much-respected member of the fire department he loved so much. Elliott and Lacey shared their home with their dogs, Holly and Bison, and a collection of other pets that filled their household.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up to assist the family. Contributions may be made to Wells Fargo Bank to the Elliott L. Taylor Benefit Memorial Fund, account 7553161261.
Arrangements are with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial Chapel, www.janssenfuneralhomes.com.
