FOR WILLIAM DEAN
William I. Dean passed away very suddenly Monday morning October 27 at 8:30 of a heart attack at the age of 69 years. Rites are to be read Thursday at 2:00 p. m, at the Sorenson Funeral Home with,. Rev. R. C Puffer officiating. It is to be a Masonic, service and pall bearers will be members of the lodge. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. Dean was born to John and Maud Dean in Danville, Lapeer County on March 11, 1883. He attended Sharpsville School in Sanilac County and Detroit before his marriage to Irene Bird in Mt. Clemens on August 6th, 1910. They resided in Detroit, Rochester and Pinconning before coming to Grayling. He was a member of Rochester Masonic Lodge F and A. M. No. 5. Surviving Mr, Dean besides his wife are three childrern Robert of Grayling, William Earl of Pontiac and Mrs. Grace Hellinga of Birmingham and five grandchildren.
