She was born Jan. 29, 1917, in Sterling, Colo., and had lived in Cheyenne for most of her life before moving to Aurora.
Ms. Turner was a seamstress for Grier Furniture.
She is survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Ms. Turner was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Mary Beth Catlett; three daughters, Mary Roberta Black, Janice Marie Tyler and Beverly Mae Markham; a brother, Robert Catlett; two sisters, Willa Bowman and Viola Montgomery; and a granddaughter.
