Mary Ivy Myrtle Perry, the wife of Manville C. Perry and the daughter of Charles and Lettie Porter was born in Centerville, Iowa April 9, 1878, died at her home in Novelty, Mo. Feb 22, 1908 after four weeks sickness and suffering, aged 29 years 9 months and 15 days. She was married to M.C. Perry August 18, 1895, to them were born six children, two daughters and four sons, the oldest a daughter in her twelfth year. She was a good woman and held in high esteem by all who knew her. She was a good wife and a kind and loving mother. She leaves a husband, six children, father and mother, one brother, one sister and many relatives and friends. The funeral services were held at the Christian Church on Monday Feb. 24th conducted by elder J.W. Davis of Kirksville assisted by Rev. J.H. Lane pastor of the M.E. Church. The body was laid to rest in the Novelty Cemetery.
