Services for Margueritte E. Hynd, 64, of 2832 7 1/2 Street, East Moline, will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anne's Catholic Church, East Moline, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline.
Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
She died Friday evening in her home after a long illness.
Memorials may be made to St. Anne's Church or to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Hynd was born in Moline Sept. 12, 1913, and was married to William Hynd Jr. Sept. 12, 1932, in East Moline.
Survivors include the widower; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Marie Vande Voorde,Rock Island; Sister Marie Louise, Peoria; and Mrs. Barbara Jean Carlson, Buffalo, Iowa; a son, William Dale Hynd of Moline; her father, Axel T. Peterson Sr., Vero Beach, Fla; 10 grandchildren; four step-brothers, Axel Peterson Jr., Fred Peterson, Edward Peterson, all of Vero Beach, Fla; and Karl Peterson, Saratoga, Calif.; and a step-sister, Mrs. Pauline Washington, also of Vero Beach.
