Rex Moore, Battle Creek, 58, of Battle Creek passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at his home. He was born July 2, 1952 in Battle Creek the son of Amos and Katherine (Singletery) Moore. Rex is a graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and he worked for the Harper Creek Public School District for 23 years. Rex liked to watch his grandson and son-in-law race stock cars, watch wrestling on TV, go for walks in the woods, ride his lawn tractor and do home improvement projects. Surviving are his wife, Cathy R. Moore; father, Amos Moore; children, Linda (Rob) Rheinsburg, Ric (Katrina) Moore; grandchildren, Aaron, Chase and Elaina; brothers and sisters, Johnny Shelton, Janice (David) Bussard, Thomas (Anita) Moore, Tina (Tim) Pier, Peggy (Mike) Moore, Kevin (Rosemary) Moore; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Ronnie and sisters, Pauline and Donna. The family is having a gathering Friday at 4:00 p.m.. at 21770 Waubascon Rd., Battle Creek. Cremation has taken place at Oak Hill Crematory in Battle Creek. Arrangements by the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service, a member by invitation Selected Independent Funeral Homes.
