Mrs. Elizabeth Tynan
BERRIEN SPRINGS, Jan. 20 —
Mrs. Elizabeth Daley Tynan, 85, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Orlando Alger, Route 1, Berrien Springs, at 10:40 p.m. Thursday. She had been ill for more than a year.

Mrs. Tynan, who was born in Waverly, Ia., June 27, 1870, had lived in Evanston, Ill., until last September when she moved to Berrien Springs.

Her husband, Joseph R. Tynan, preceded her in death a number of years ago.

Surviving, besides her daughter living in Berrien Springs, are a son, Frank J. Tynan, of Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. John Harrington, of Chicago, and a brother, Frank M. Daley, of Vicksburg. She also leaves six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a son-in-law, Phillip Maas of Evanston.

Requiem high mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic church in Evanston on Saturday. Burial will be In All Saints cemetery, Evanston.

The body is at the Boyd funeral home, Bridgeman, and will be taken early Saturday morning to the Lane funeral home in Evanston.
