Mrs. Rucker was born September 8, 1917, in Hope, Arkansas, to the late J.F. and Annie Collins. She was a longtime member of the Eastview Baptist Church. Mrs. Rucker worked as a sales associate in the retail clothing business. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, aunt and homemaker. She will be missed by all her loving family and friends.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Ken and wife Tanya Collins, James Collins, Cindy and husband Gil Jackson, and Jeannie and husband David Rodriguez; great-nieces and-nephews, Jamie and husband David Oliver, Melissa and husband Casey Kutch, Jason and wife Kari Jackson and Jonathan and Ashley Morgan; stepgrandson, Neil Laney; as well as other relatives and countless friends.
Mrs. Rucker was preceded in death by her two husbands, Garland Brown and Carl S. Rucker; her beloved daughter, Sherry Ann Laney; sister, Mabel Collins Bryant; and two brothers, Edward E. Collins and J.F. Collins Jr.
