John L. Olson was born Dec. 29, 1927, in Wolf Point. He passed from this life on July 2, 2010, due to the spread of cancer. He was 82 years old.
He was a proud Korean War veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mathias and Hilda (Grandahl) Olson; brothers, Alfred and August Olson; sisters, Jane Hays, Helen Jones, Esther Carlson, and Olive Wiebe.
He is survived by his brother, Marvin Olson.
Graveside services for John will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Bozeman on Sept. 11, 2010. Time will be announced.
