Ruthie was the tenth of eleven children born to David Piotrski and Mary Catherine Pape. About 1967 she married Moe Miller and they had two children, Samantha and Troy. The couple later divorced and Ruthie never remarried. Ruthie was a secretary for Westport Road Middle School in Louisville, KY. She died of cancer.
