Table Rock Argus, Nov. 29, 1918.

A Victim of Influenza

Mary Effie Aylor was born on December 5, 1867, and departed this life November 23, 1918, aged 51 years, 11 months and 8 days. She was born in Van Buren county, Iowa, and moved to Nebraska in 1886, where she resided until the time of her death.

At the age of 14 she united with the Baptist church, later transferring her membership to the Christian church of Table Rock.

On October 10, 1886, she was united in marriage to Silas E. Bowen. To this union six children were born, three of whom are living, Ralph, Stella and Della, all living in Table Rock.

She was united in marriage on September 18, 1907, to Cass Davis. There are left to mourn her loss, her husband, her three children, four sisters, Mrs. John Covault, Mrs. Dell Mort, Mrs. M. H. Irwin, Table Rock; Mrs. T. B. McIntosh, of Denver, Colo., and four brothers, Norris, Will and John Aylor, and Henry Aylor of Des Moines, Iowa.

Hers was a consecrated Christian life. She possessed a sunny cheerful disposition, and to know her was to love her. She will be missed, not only by the sorrowing relatives, but also by the many friends that she has made during the period of time that she was with us.

Funeral services were held at the grave Tuesday at 11 o'clock, conducted by her pastor G. B. Dunning, and the remains were laid to rest in Table Rock cemetery. To the sorrowing relatives and friends the sympathy of the community is extended.
