Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Lee Gray were held Friday afternoon, February 2 at Vaiden Methodist Church. She died February 1 at Tyler Holmes Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack. She was 87.

Mrs. Gray was a resident of Vaiden and a native of Carroll County.

The services were conducted by Rev. Nelson Wade, Rev. George A. Curtis, and Rev. Claude B. Gamble. Burial was in Vaiden Cemetery with Winona Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Vernon F. Anderson, Vaiden, Mrs. George W. Griffin, Greenville and Mrs. John C. Coleman, Jackson; one son, Guy Holmes Gray, Kosciusko; two sisters, Mrs. E. J. Hines, Cruger and Mrs. W. R. Curvon, Jonesboro, Arkansas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were B. B. Sanders, Dennis Welch, George W. Turbeville, Herman Johnson, Rodney Armstrong, and Collins Melton.

Honorary pallbearers were J. H. Armstrong, P. A. Bennett, B. F. Wiley, Dr. H. R. Power, R. W. Conner, C. A. Pierce and Claude Hatcher.
