Colonel Wilmer K. Benson Jr, in Korea about 1957, while serving as the Senior KMAG Engineer for the Republic of South Korea. He received the Key to the City of Souel, Korea, as a parting gift from the ROK Army.

Marble Marker in the columbarium wall for Col. Wilmer K. Benson and his wife, Virginia Cabell Benson - This photo was taken in 2002, about a month after Virginia Benson had been buried, and shows the temporary "clip on" marker for her. It has subsequently been replaced with an etched marble marker.

Lt. Col. Wilmer Kersey Benson, Jr. as he appeared in Italy, in 1944. The tilted back cap was typical of many American and British soldiers of that time period. The pipe was one of his favorites, which he picked up in England in 1943 when the transport ship he was on stopped over.
