Tranquilino Baca Succumbs Here

Tranquilino Baca, 67, a sheepherder in the Casper area for many years, died early Thursday morning at the Natrona County Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.

He was born Sept. 11, 1898, in Santa Fe, N. M.

Mr. Baca is survived by one brother, Dan Gurule, of Santa Fe.

He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 2, and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Funeral services for Mr. Baca are pending and will be announced later by Hillside Chapel.

Tranquilino Baca

Recitation of the rosary for Tranquilino Baca, 67, a resident of the Casper area for many years, will be held Monday at 8 p.m. at the Hillside Chapel. Requiem high mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Angel Ornelas as celebrant. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
