Miss Tidwell was a native of Allendale and the daughter of the late Thomas Edeson and Mary Skinner Tidwell.
She had retired from Westinghouse-Micarta Division, Hampton, was owner of Jo's Hair Castle Beauty Salon and a member of Mt. Arnon Baptist Church. Jo Jo's loves were dancing, bowling, playing bridge, and especially cooking and baking for her friends. She was 73.
Survivors include her beloved friends, Sandy and Max Brunson and their family of Hampton. She was predeceased by her special pet dog, 'Honey'.
