OBITUARY
Mayme Eveleen C. Schvaneveldt
LOGAN, Utah--Mayme Eveleen Carlson Schvaneveldt, 90, died Thursday, August 27, 1987 at the Logan Regional Hospital.

She was born June 17, 1897 in Logan, a daughter of John August and Anna Lundstrom Carlson. She married Joseph H. Schvaneveldt Jr. June 5, 1918 in the Logan LDS Temple; later divorced. Graduated from Brigham Young College in Logan in 1916 and taught at the Woodruff School until 1918. In 1939, she became a saleslady for Avon, retiring from the company in 1964. As an active member of the LDS Church, she has held numerous offices in the Primary and Relief Society. For six years she taught literature in the Logan Stake.

Survivors include: five sons, Clyde J., and Dee W. of Salt Lake City; Jack A., Roseburg, Oregon; Gordon L, Heber City; Calder G., Logan; one daughter, Mrs. R. R (Carol) Stuart, Medford, Oregon; one sister, Ada C. Garn, Scottsdale, AZ; 24 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one son, Dale E., three brothers, and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m., in the Allen-Hall Mortuary chapel with Branch President, Ralph Lundstrom conducting. Friends may call Monday evening, 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Burial, Logan City Cemetery.
