Nodie was a loving grandmother and daughter of Ella Whetsell and Lewis Kallmyer, raised in Hoffmans Hollow. She married Henry Rephann Jr and their children Earl and Leona died much too soon. Nodie and Henry raised their grandchildren Betty and Donald on Beechers Ave in Eckhart Mines MD. Grandma was hard working and thrifty. It was said she could "make a silk purse out of a sows ear".
