Verta Daniell McCray
Funeral Services for Verta Daniell McCray of Thomasville will be held at 11 am Tuesday August 3rd at the Thomasville Primitive Baptist Church where she was a member and also former church clerk for several years. Elder Terry Barnard will officiate and interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews.
Mrs. McCray died saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla, GA. Born October 10, 1916 she was a daughter of the late Joseph Lee and Mattie Shiver Daniell. She was a homemaker and recieved her education in the Thomasville Public Schools.
In addition to her parents Mrs. McCray was preceded in death by a son Ronald (Ronnie) McCray.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Thomasville Primitive Baptist Church, 502 N. Pinetree BLVD or to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 808 Gordon Avenue.
