The eighteen months old girl of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Cheney was drowned last Thursday in Corral creek, a small stream which passes the house where they live in Bates Park. Mr. Cheney left here about two weeks ago for New York in company with his father, so was not here at the time the accident occurred. The stricken family have the sympathy of all our citizens.

W. H. and Bert Cheney returned Monday from a business trip to New York. Bert Cheney received word in Chicago of the death of his eighteen months old daughter, who was drowned
at the ranch the fore part of the month, and feels very kindly toward the friends who did all possible for the family in their bereavement during his absence. Mrs. Cheney met him at Casper.
