From Rosenberg Herald:

After an illness of long duration, Mr. Thomas Bolo died at his residence in Orchard Tuesday, July 3, at 3 p.m. He had reached the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 24 days. Mr. Bolo has been a citizen of high standing in Orchard for more than twenty-four years, and his passing has caused much sorrow in that community.

He leaves to mourn his demise his widow; one brother, John Bolo, of Orchard; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Potsomie, of Chicago; and 4 nieces of Orchard; besides a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m., Rev. W.L. Hornung of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Rosenberg officiating. Interment was made in the Orchard Cemetery. A large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends were present to pay their final tribute.

Clark's Funeral Home of Rosenberg had charge of funeral arrangements.
