She is survived by her husband, Jack R. Barker ; children, John C. (Elizabeth) Barker of Quechie, VT, James R. (Jolanda) Ryan-Barker of Rhinebeck, NY, Beth E. Carr of Avon, NY, Wayne W. Barker of New York City ; 6 grandchildren; cousin, Curt and Jane Barker.
Maria was a graduate of Webster Central School and Fingerlakes Community College. She retired from FLCC Drama Department in 1994. She enjoyed crafts, arts, sewing, church, canoeing and going up to their camp at Wanakena, NY.
