Thomas Virgile Granstaff of Bridgeport, a retired machinist for the Rock Island Railroad, died in the Bridgeport Hospital Monday.
Funeral services were held at 2 PM Tuesday in the Hawkins Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eldred Hill of Boyd officiating. Burial was in the New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Bryan Ward, Aster Able, Charles McKnight, Bob McNight, David Granstaff, and Steve Granstaff.
Mr. Granstaff was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Grady Granstaff of Boyd and a sister, Mrs. Bertie Cashen of Fort Worth.
