MRS. W. S. MAPLE DIES
Resident of Wichita Quarter Century Passes In Local Hospital
Mrs. W. S. Maple, widow of the late W. S. Maple and a resident of Wichita for 25 years, died in a local hospital Thursday at 9 a. m. She came here from Kingman county. She had a large number of friends in this city.
Mrs. Maple is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. B. Shannon, 1529 South Santa Fe, and Miss Blanche Maple, at the home, Alcove apartments, 337 North Market; a son, S. B. Maple, Fleetwood apartments, 308 South Hydraulic; two brothers, Fred B. Wood, Kingman, and C. W. Wood, Avon Park, Fla., and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Maple was a member of the Mathewson avenue Church of Christ. Funeral services will be conducted at the Downing mortuary Saturday at 2 p. m. Rev. Homer B. Moore will officiate.
