OAKDALE - Funeral services for M.L. Perry will be 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, in Rush Funeral Home, Southside Chapel with the Rev. Tony Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Perry , 68, of Oakdale, died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of Oakdale and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was a retired mechanic and truck driver.
Mr. Perry is preceded in death by his parents one son, Darrell and one grandson, Bubba.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Perry of Oakdale one son, Dennie Perry of Oakdale one daughter, Enola Lester of Vicksburg, Miss. five step-children one brother, Tim Perry of Oakdale three sisters, Gretta Ellzey and Sandy Calcotte, both of Oakdale, and Dovie Thacker of Denham Springs and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
