Taken in Death
Albert Baker, 71, 1002 Laura, died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born September 12, 1875 in Sedgwick County and resided in the Wichita area most of his life. Baker was a farmer and was a member of the Seltzer Methodist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Archie Adams, 1533 Pawnee, and Mrs. S. H. Graves, Viola; a son, E. R. Baker, Spearman, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. O. E. Cooley, Wichita, and Mrs. A. N. Meadows, Spearman; and three brothers, Amos Baker, Ashland, Homer Baker and Palmer Baker, Los Angeles.
Funeral services will be held at the Downing Mortuary Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. The [Rev] J. Henry Fornung will officiate. Burial will be in the Seltzer Cemetery. (Obituary thanks to Deanna Peterson.)
