Julia Veronica (Campbell) Balow, passed away at the Columbia hospital in Milwaukee at 11:45 a.m. Friday Feb. 23 after a five week's illness.

She was born Jan. 13, 1922 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Campbell, 211 Chippewa St. and graduated from McDonell memorial high school in 1939, she was married to Lester Balow at Eau Claire.

Her husband survives her as does one daughter, Judith Kaye. One son, Robert, preceded her in death three and one half years ago. Also surviving are her parents, eleven sisters, Mrs. Gregory Rada of Eau Claire, Mrs. Chester Norton, Malott, Wash.; Alice, Mrs. Gilmare Globensky and Mrs. George Nelson all of this city; Mrs. John Strader of Dos Palos, Cal.; Margory, Marilyn, Kay June, Patsy Jo, Lucille of Chippewa Falls; one brother James Matthew and her grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Barton also this city.

The remains will arrive in Eau Claire Sunday where they will lie in state at the Lenmark Funeral Home Sunday evening. They will then be brought to Chippewa Falls and taken to the Mason Funeral Home where they will lie in state Monday until the hour of the funeral.
