ROBERTS, JOHN. Private. No 266475. 9th Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment. Formerly No 1667 Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Oldham. Son of Percy and Ada Roberts, of Marsden. Fell in raid near Caiga, between Asiago and Canove, Italy, on 20.7.1918, aged 23 years. Has no known grave.
