Other information:
PFC Method Stoyanoff had been seriously wounded in action in France in July, 1944 and spent time recovering in an English hospital. He returned to combat duty and was killed just a few months later.
PFC Method Stoyanoff was killed in action in Holland, October 3, the War Department informed his parents, the third casualty message they have received. Previously they were informed that one son, SGT. Esko Stoyanoff, was seriously wounded in action in France, July 8 and was in an English hospital; and that another son, PFC. Milan Stoyanoff, was missing in action in France, August 29.
A fourth son, Kero Stoyanoff was serving with the Merchant Marine and his brother, Eli Stoyanoff, served 13 months in the Army, being given a medical discharge.
He trained at Camp Polk, La.; Fort Benning, GA., going overseas to England in April of this year, moving into France in June.
