Adam Schleiger was born 2 Mar 1896 in Norka, Saratov, Volga, Russia. He was the son of Margaret Kaiser and Konrad Schleiger. His father passed away when he was only 3 years old, and he then immigrated to the USA with his widowed mother and 2 brothers. In Nebraska, 1900, his mother Margaret then married John Schleiger, younger brother to her deceased first husband.

Adam served in WWI, and died in France as a result of war injuries.
