Ale attended the rural school in the neighborhood where he was born in the southwest part of Nemaha County known as the Long Branch area.
He had a wide acquaintance and all had a sense of profound loss at his death. He was an honest and upright man in all ways.
He was a member of the German Lutheran Church. He was true to his religion.
His funeral was held on Wednesday, March 29, with the services conducted by Rev. F. D. Keefer at the Armstrong Funeral Home in Auburn.
Ale was survived by his wife and five children, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
