Mrs. Cora Goble, 69, who until recently operated the American Hotel in Ferndale, died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Clarence Olson of Ferndale, Monday after a long illness.

Mrs. Goble was the daughter of Warren and Mary Connick. She was born in Metropolitan in January 1882, and had lived most of her life in Humboldt county.

Survivors include two sons, Leslie Goble of Carson City, Nev., and Preston Goble of Fort Bragg; two sisters, Mrs. Chester Gardner of Petrolia, and Mrs. Leona Hall of San Diego; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
