LEVERTON
KILLED IN ACTION – Official notification has been received by Mrs. D. Adams, Sycamore Farm, Leverton, that her husband. Gunner Alfred Adams has been killed in action in North West Europe. 24 years of age he was the second son of Mr. and Mrs, Adams, Stoke-on-Trent. He married Miss Dulcie Shelton, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Shelton, Sycamore Farm, Leverton in July of last year. He had been in the Army for four years. A memorial service will be held on Sunday November 5th November 5t at the Methodist Chapel, Outgate, Leverton.
