A memorial service for Jeanne Marie Shoemaker, 74, were held Saturday, March 29, 2003, from St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Livingston, with Father Clifton Labbe officiating. Mrs. Shoemaker died Thursday, March 20, at her residence in Onalaska. She was born March 7, 1929 in Colorado Springs, Colo., the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Black Scannell, both of whom preceded her in death. Mrs. Shoemaker was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughters, RaeNell Brumbaugh of Onalaska and Lyndel Nall of Mojave Valley, Ariz.; son, Kelly Shoemaker of Sonora, Calif.; sister, Alice Matney of Bosque Farms, N.M.; brother, Tim Scannell of Albuquerque, N.M.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
