MOLLIE DARNELL MALLORY, 88, of Memphis, homemaker, died of heart failure Sunday at her home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, where she was a communicant, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown. Canale Funeral Directors has charge. She was the 1935 Cotton Carnival Queen and a member of Memphis Junior League and the Tuesday Study Club. Mrs. Mallory, the widow of Albert H. Mallory Jr., leaves two daughters, Roberta Mallory Castillo of Big Pine Key, Fla., and Blanche Mallory Felts of Brentwood, Tenn.; a son, Albert H. Mallory III of Memphis, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Friends of St. Peters or a charity of the donor's choice.
