L. T. Stratton, wife of J. G. Stratton, died at her home near Alford, on January 8. She was a good Christian woman, and will be greatly missed in her community. She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, five daughters and two sons, besides an aged mother, several brothers and sisters and many friends. Her remains were interred in the family burying ground.
