Peter Olinger, Jr. was the son of Peter and Catherine Olinger, Sr. He married Ellen Currens and they had 4 children; Ida Bell, Willis F., Charles David & Harvey Oscar Olinger. He worked his mother's farm in Two Taverns that was stripped by both the Union & Confederate Armies of all the food, animals and tools. Willis, a son, died as an infant and on the death of Peter, Jr. the other children were awarded only $15.00 each from his will. The civil war left them with basically nothing. Their farm was on the edge of the Gettysburg Battlefield.∼DIED AT AGE 36
