Mrs. M. B. Lamb passed way at her residence, No. 122 South Sixth street, yesterday morning. The funeral will take place from there at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with interment in Aspen Grove. Friends are invited to these services.
Deceased was born in Akron, Ohio, September 6, 1840, and was married to Mr. Lamb at Oswego, Ill., in 1856. Four children were born to this union, the husband passing away about six years ago. They came to Burlington in 1882, and won many friends here, who will hold deceased in kindly remembrance. The surviving children are: Mrs. W. E. O'Brien of Chicago; A. C. Lamb, of Denver; M. B. Lamb, of Hannibal, Mo.; and Mrs. P. H. Willem, of Burlington. Deceased was a faithful member of the Presbyterian church and active in W.R.C and D.A.R circles.
