He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife of 66 years, Cathie of Grandview as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel in Dauphin with Pastor Ron Hagglund and George Penner officiating. Barbara Durston served as organist, accompanying the Mennonite Choir. Glennda Tully was the Piper. The eulogy was delivered by Jo-Anne Weir. Interment followed in the Grandview Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Stuart Dalgleish, Scott Weir, Dewar Wilson, Wayne Gryba, David Suidy and Claire Stroud.
