A resident of Maple Avenue, Harleysville, for more than 50 years, she and her husband entered the former Hatfield Mennonite Home, now known as Dock Meadows, in 1977. She lived there for 10 years.
Mrs. Landis assisted her husband in his retail store in the former Philadelphia Farmers' Market in Philadelphia and on his routes as a commission merchant, in the city's Germantown section for more than 50 years. She helped with preparing baked goods, butchering and sausage-making for the family business.
She was an active member of .the Salford Mennonite Church in Harleysville, where she was involved in the sewing circle.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 17 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Souderton Mennonite Homes. Interment followed in Salford Mennonite Cemetery.
