Mrs. Ella C. Dougherty died at her residence Saturday. A native of Baywood, resident of Baton Rouge, she was 83.

Survivors include one son, Willie D. Dougherty, Baker; three daughters, Mrs. M.L. Westbrook, Mrs. C.E. Nall Sr. and Mrs. Walter Van Osdell Sr., all of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Tucker and Mrs. Dean Breeden, both of Baton Rouge; one brother, Jessie Croft, Pride; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
