Obituary published Jan.28, 1919 , Tuesday, Springfield Morning Union, page 13;
Alphonse Latourneau, age 64 years, died in his home Saturday night in Highland Ave. He was born in Canada and came to Ludlow when about 20 years old. Besides his wife he leaves four sons, Edward of Attleboro, Homer of Springfield, Ormond and Aldia of this town; three daughters, Alma, Sister Raphael of Cohoes, NY, Mrs. Henry Epper of Springfield and Beatrice at home. The funeral will take place Tuesday morning in St. John the Baptist Church at 9:30 o'clock. Burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.

Buried with wife Emma Patenaude, sons, Homer Latourneau and his wife Edith M. Gauthier, Armand Latourneau, and sister Beatrice Latourneau Becker.
